Daniela Spadini Gets Vulnerable with the Heartbreaking Track, “7:30”

Indie-pop artist, Daniella Spadini, creates a conflicting breakup song titled, “7:30.” The 21-year old singer-songwriter is currently working on her undergraduate degree at Berklee College of Music, and has been growing throughout the creative field. Spadini’s recent single, “7:30,” gives an effervescent vibe, which notably hear influences from her northern-California upbringing.

“7:30,” starts off with Spadini utilizing soft and isolated vocals, followed by a solo piano. Right from the beginning, she is able to capture a mesmerizing tone that only transitions from there on. Followed by a light beat and creative melodies, the song picks up at the chorus. Spadini utilizes fun synths and a stronger vocal projection that changes the mood of the song to show frustration with the breakup, rather than the initial heartbreak she conveyed earlier. The bridge not only caught me unbelievably off guard, but is one of the best moments of the song. Spadini demonstrates her range and versatility in singing with an amazing note hold followed by crazy guitar riffs.

Not only does Spadini have a knack for musicality, but her lyricism is intriguing and creative as well. With lyrics such as, “If you really meant what you said, then you should have kept every promise you broke,” and “You don’t have a say if I stay, if I go, you should know this hurts either way.” Spadini’s “7:30” is discussing her conflict within the relationship on whether or not it's worth it to keep loving them or leave them. The heartbreak shown throughout the song is represented as fire, and how her significant other is metaphorically burning her with their mistreatment.

As a creative artist on the rise, Daniella Spadini is just getting started in her musical career. With both of her singles having over 30,000 streams, Spadini is a force to keep an eye on in the music industry.
