Headliners Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, and more to Perform at the Star-Studded IYKYK Music Festival

With festival season coming to a close, there are still some upcoming that are worth checking out. One of those is the inaugural IYKYK Music Festival in Avondale, Arizona. IYKYK Music Festival will highlight hip-hop culture through a series of experimental activations, music, art, and more. With dynamic and electrifying talent set to grace the stage, we’re here to highlight the 5 artists that will be performing this year.

Meet The Artists

Lil Uzi Vert

With the release of the long awaited project Pink Tape, Lil Uzi Vert has been performing on a different level. From jumping twenty feet into the crowd or having fans chase while performing, you can never expect what will come from them. An exciting highlight about this year's performance is that a lot of his new music isn’t the sound you would expect from Vert. With so much rock and k-pop influence on this project, it’s going to be interesting to experience all at once. Either way, an Uzi shows is always guaranteed to be a great time.

Metro Boomin

When making the debate of this generation's best producers, you have to bring the name Metro Boomin into the picture. Whether helping develop the sounds for some of hip-hop's biggest names or having the best tags in the music industry (“If young metro don’t trust, I’m gonna shoot you,”) the man's talent is a force to be reckoned with. Coming off the heels of their latest project, Heroes and Villains, and the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Into the SpiderVerse, Young Metro is gonna have a ball at this inaugural festival.

Denzel Curry

The Florida MC has been on run these last couple of years, playing his lyrical talent with tracks such as “Walkin,” “Lay Up,” “Blood On My Nikez,” and many others. From prior experience, Curry has an amazing stage presence and great crowd interaction that is fun to see live as a festival goer. He’s one of my favorite live artists and he will be your’s too after seeing him.

Rico Nasty

The Baltimore MC has been killing it for years and brings a unique stage presence unlike any other whenever she graces the stage. With the release of Las Ruinas in 2022 and Nightmare Vacation in 2020, Rico Nasty has no shortage of tracks to rap or start a mosh pit to. While the world is anticipating new music from the artist, she will remind you why she is still one of the best live performers out there with her IYKYK debut.

JELEEL!

The 28 year-old artist has made a huge splash in the music industry these past two years. His onstage antics and positive attitude make him a breath of fresh air in today’s hip-hop scene. If you have never heard of him, just Google his name and you will see something truly unique with this artist. I believe JELEEL! has a bright future and its only a matter of time until he blows up into his full potential.
