Allison Ponthier Brings a Southern Flair to Lord Huron's Fall Tour
Allison Ponthier shared a magical performance tonight that she will never forget. It was her very first show, performing on the Skyline Stage at the Mann Center overlooking Philadelphia. Starting off the fall tour with Lord Huron, Allison and her crew rounded up a few of their best tunes and rocked the crowd with a sweet southern flair. Ponthier’s gentle and heartwarming voice flowed throughout the audience and lifted them off of their feet. She finished her set strong with her pride song “cowboy”, an uplifting song about coming out and becoming your true self. It was lovely to see such powerful women stand tall and represent such an incredible community. Allison threw her hands in the air and danced off the stage as the crowd applauded after such an endearing set. Later on, Allison returned to the stage to accompany Lord Huron in the song “I Lied”, which was previously premiered on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as well as on Lord Huron’s album, Long Lost. This is just the beginning for Allison Ponthier, and we can’t wait to see her shoot for the stars from here. Find Allison’s latest release “Faking My Own Death” streaming on all platforms.
