Shinedown Brings the Revolutions Tour Live to Blossom Music Center

Circle with us as we attend the Revolutions Live Tour with Shinedown, Papa Roach & Spiritbox. This show definitely left some scars on our hearts in Cleveland, Ohio. Between the lighting, the atmosphere, and the all around vibe of every concert-goer at Blossom Music Center, it was all around a good time.

For a band like Spiritbox, you would typically think “why are they on this tour,” but we definitely weren’t complaining after hearing lead vocalist, Courtney LaPlante’s beautiful melodies and heavy screams. It was an experience seeing this band live, and if you have yet to catch them on tour, they are a band you should see immediately.

The band played some of their songs off the album Eternal Blue, such as “Yellowjackets,” “Circle with Me,” and fan favorite, “Holy Roller.” The Canadian heavy metal band has made their mark on the industry from selling out their own headlining shows to opening for artists as massive as Shinedown. This is a band you should keep high on your radar for the time to come.

We are no strangers to Papa Roach as they have been around for a long time. We all grew up listening to “Last Resort” and “Scars” playing through our radios, but our favorite part of this performance was the video about suicide prevention. As mental health advocates ourselves, it really made us happy to see that bands and artists are taking things like mental health seriously, and are not ever afraid to address it as well. In the video, Jacoby Shaddix expressed how he’s lost loved ones due to battles with mental health and wants to bring awareness to this.

As California natives, Papa Roach definitely knows how to party in Ohio. The lighting and visuals were absolutely beautiful and we would one hundred percent go see them again!

As the headlining act of the night, Shinedown’s stage setup and lighting production was absolutely breathtaking. The pyro really threw it altogether with most of their lighting having warm tones. The group from Jacksonville, Florida has made huge waves in the rock scene over the years and lead vocalist, Brent Smith showed so much love and empathy to the fans here in Ohio. We noticed during the show Smith went backstage and grabbed a whole case of water, handing and throwing bottles to fans as the heat was near unbearable in the crowd of the outdoor venue that night.

Shinedown’s stage presence is the best we’ve seen this year, being so interactive, making little jokes and even talking about serious things. Times like these are the reason we love live music and relating to our favorite artists in such a beautiful way. We gladly recommend catching Shinedown on the remainder of the Revolutions Tour live.
