Performing at the famous Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, California, PHEELINGS FEST- created by Phem - celebrated the work of musical artists in the alt pop community. The lineup demonstrated an amazing array of female representation with performances from Phem herself, Royal & The Serpent, Alice Longyu Gao, Wrenn, as well as an enthusiastic performance from Sueco the Child.

The virtual performance started off with a crazy and energetic DJ performance by Alice Longyu Gao. She was able to kick off PHEELINGS FEST with her lively music, singing, dancing, and speeches given between each song. She genuinely seemed like she was having the time of her life playing her music live, and even performed an unreleased song for the viewers! Wrenn was next on the setlist and had a change of pace with her music. Her angelic voice brought out a whole different vibe and maintained the audience’s attention throughout the entirety of the set.

“Why do phem’s and royal’s songs hit my soul. Like seriously mood.” - Jordy Wales

Royal and The Serpent began their set with the hit song “Overwhelmed” and guest performer Christian Gates. The performance was fiery and included a duet of their new track “Girls” - produced by both Phem and Royal and the Serpent. Between the two girls, the track was not only powerful, but also presented an insane dynamic that you could see and hear! Sueco the Child followed next with his performance. Sueco brought a ton of energy and a spirited performance, which segwayed to the creator of PHEELINGS FEST herself.

Phem’s set was an all-around amazing performance and gave the audience a taste of her new album titled how u stop hating urself (pt 1.5). In the beginning of her set, she brought out Tyler Posey and performed an acoustic version of their song “Shut Up”, which was a jaw-dropping experience. Phem’s mesmerizing voice and incredible music was easily brought to life throughout her whole performance and was a great introduction to her new album. Her music is filled with personality and thrilling beats, which keep you drawn in to listen more and more!

The production and overall vibe of PHEELINGS FEST was an insane experience, and it definitely left the viewers with some post-concert sadness. Watching Phem’s electricity, happiness, and excitement while performing live made me eager to see Phem perform again and again!
