Boys Like Girls Brings Their Massive Headlining Tour to Pittsburgh

Boys Like Girls really had us Love Drunk in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 23, 2023 at Roxian Theater. For this date, they brought along State Champs, LOLO, and The Summer Set for an excellent night of nostalgia.

The feeling of hearing songs like “Love Drunk,” “The Great Escape,” & “Hero/Heroine” in person really had us feeling like we were going back in time making game bulletins on MySpace once again. Hearing the crowd scream the lyrics back to the band made the energy even more immaculate, giving the room so much adrenaline.  

The production for all bands was so outstanding, it really made us appreciate how incredible stage lighting can actually be. All acts had phenomenal lighting and production which had us in awe the entire night.

State Champs, The Summer Set, and LOLO were such great fits on this tour. The way they all connected with the crowd was so mind blowing. An especially memorable moment of the night was when the entire crowd sang back The Summer Set’s hit song “Chelsea.”  

All in all, this tour itched something in our brains and gave much serotonin that was definitely needed for most of us “Elder Emo’s.” Catch Boys Like Girls on tour in a city near you until November 1st.
