Phoebe Bridgers Takes Over Louisville in a Sold Out Show on the Reunion Tour
Phoebe Bridgers took the stage at a sold out show in Louisville, KY at Iroquois Amphitheater on September. Phoebe, along with her band, appeared on stage dressed head to toe in their staple skeleton outfits. She complimented the skeleton outfits worn by many of the fans in attendance. Throughout the show, she sang popular songs like “Kyoto” and “Funeral”. With each song there were animated visuals on the screen to aid in telling the story to her already storyteller lyric style.
During the middle of the show, the band disappeared off the stage, leaving Phoebe with just her guitar to cover “That Funny Feeling” by Bo Burnham. It may have been just her on stage, but the audience did not let her sing alone, as they sang along to every word as if they were the ones performing.
Soon after, the band returned on stage for one last go, closing the night out with the popular “I Know The End”. Near the end, when the song picks up, the crowd erupted with screams and flailing arms. The show came to a close with the lyrics “The end is here” lingering in the minds of those attending, wishing it wasn’t so. Phoebe's voice was as expected, even better live.
