Skillet and Theory of a Deadman Bring the Rock Resurrection Tour to the Covelli Centre

On November 17, 2023 the Rock Resurrection Tour came through Youngstown, Ohio at the Covelli Centre. This tour bill was made up by no other than Saint Asonia, Theory Of A Deadman, and Christian rock band, Skillet.

What we can say about this entire show is that it was nothing short of phenomenal. The production for each band honestly had us mesmerized. The mixture of color with white lighting will forever hold our hearts. The sound was also phenomenal. Even though you SHOULD wear earplugs, if you didn’t at this show it surprisingly wouldn’t be too bad.

Saint Asonia killed it as the first on the stage. Since their lead vocalist, Adam Gontier was a founding member of Three Days Grace, we got some wicked covers of them playing “Never Too Late” and “I Hate Everything About You,” making our 2000s Nu-Metal hearts jump with joy.

Theory Of A Deadman’s setlist was nothing short of great, notably playing “Bitch Came Back” in the beginning. Throughout the set, they performed songs such as “Not Meant To Be” and the crowd favorite, “Bad Girlfriend.”

Skillet rocked the house as the headliner of the evening, playing songs such as “Hero,” “Surviving The Game,” and also the fan favorite “Monster.” Skillet’s stage presence made the room come even more alive with their energy and love for rock music.

Crowd interaction was a big thing for this band as we could see, dedicating some songs to fans, putting the microphone in their faces to sing along with them, and of course some hand holding, which is one of our favorite parts of concerts.

Altogether this tour was absolutely beautiful to witness in all aspects.
