Lizzy McAlpine - Artist of the Week (06.21)

Lizzy McAlpine is a singer-songwriter who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Having honed in on her craft since the 6th grade, Lizzy’s songwriting is a force to be reckoned with. She focuses on the small moments, which you can hear clearly in her latest release, When The World Stopped Moving: The Live EP. The EP consists of eight songs, all recorded live in one take. Lizzy’s beautifully written lyrics combined with her effortless vocals are magnetic - you can’t help but stop everything to listen. When The World Stopped Moving: The Live EP follows her full length album, Give Me A Minute, which was released in August 2020.

In fact, a cover she posted a few years ago caught the attention of one of her biggest inspirations, dodie. Fast forward to the present day, and it was just announced that Lizzy McAlpine will be supporting dodie on her North American “Build A Problem” tour next year.
