Melissa Crispo - Artist of the Week (06.28.21)

There are plenty of famous ‘Melissas’ in the world, but have you heard of Melissa Crispo?  She is a singer-songwriter from Florida who explores both tough and painful feelings within her music. Crispo mixes genres to give her music a unique and intriguing sound.

Melissa has been writing and playing music for quite a few years, starting back when she was just 5 years old. She has played all across the country, and taken part in the Melissa Etheridge Cruise over the past few years. She not only writes music, but also performs on piano and plays acoustic guitar.

Her debut album was entitled, A Break In The Clouds, followed by the EP, Tomboy, and her latest release, The 5th Stage. Melissa’s music is a look into her world, and follows her own timeline. She shares some of her personal world with her fans via social media, especially her daughter, Lennon, who may be one of the cutest kids ever. From heartbreak to finding love and marrying her wife--Candace-- to parenthood, Melissa’s music takes you on a journey through her life.
