Haunter Introduces the Dynamic Pop Punk Track, "Paralyze"

If you’re still waiting for a new pop punk song to add to your playlist, look no further than Haunter and their paralyzing new single. For fans of PVRIS, Loveless, and Chvrches, the band built of former emo kids and a metalhead are diving into the world of pop. Haunter is made up of vocalist Lucy LeNoir, guitarist Enoma Asowata, bassist Mark Schroeder, and guitarist and keyboard player Mike Ray. Working with 2x Grammy nominated producer, Tyler Smyth, Haunter’s newest release, “Paralyze,” offers insight to the group’s dynamic creativity when it comes to producing music!

With some haunting synths and melodies to start off “Paralyze,” the song takes the shape of an ornate pop-punk track. LeNoir’s vocals enter the song, followed by an unshakable beat to give the song a tempo to dance to and a luring structure. By the time the chorus hits, “Paralyze” is in full-swing, with crazy guitar and bass moments, mixed with LeNoir’s compelling vocals and note changes, as well as the insanely thrashing drums. The bridge gives a quick reprieve to the ferocity of the rest of the song, to feature Haunter’s ability to produce consistently stimulating synths.

“Paralyze” underlines the raging and turbulent aspect of a relationship. The song presents multiple metaphors from “You’ve got a taste of a poisonous kiss, the one that kills that you can’t resist,” to “I’ll never let you go, I’m already in your veins.” Filled with vivid imagery and rhymes, the delivery of each lyric is enthralling and energetic.

Haunter is establishing their goal as a band to create music that is brutally honest, diverse, and passionate. “Paralyze” follows their last release, “Illuminate,” and pushes Haunter straight into this year’s music scene with a single that is uncompromising.
