Show Review: Here Comes Spacey Jane, Everyone

Walking into a fully packed room gave a taste of what the night was to bring when going to see Spacey Jane. Atlanta’s Terminal West was filled with every kind of person you could think of: 20-somethings, teens with their parents, and even some 30-somethings who were ready to party on a Wednesday night. The time came for the Australian 4-piece band to come out and play their tunes. This indie rock group played song after song so energetically that they had the crowd pumped up. Chiller songs were interlaced within the set, allowing the vibes to become mellow in the room.

You would never know that Spacey Jane has been playing to jam-packed rooms their whole tour based on their attitude. They showed genuine love and appreciation to every person who was attending the show. Every member of the band got a moment to shine, and you could feel the adoration each of them felt for the other.

The only difference between listening to the recorded music compared to the live set was the way the band and audience absolutely roar to life. It doesn’t translate in the studio how energetic this band truly is. They’re not doing anything crazy on stage, but they are still putting on a great show for the dedicated fans as well as new ones.

Spacey Jane makes fun music to vibe and have a great time with. You best believe everyone did that night. There wasn’t a way to tell what their most popular song was because every lyric was being sung to every song so loudly. It was hard to not fall in love with their charisma and beautiful melodies.
