ERRA Presents "Cure" North America at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit

ERRA came through Detroit, Michigan on their latest tour in celebration of their new album Cure, with supporting acts NOVELISTS, Void Of Vision and Make Them Suffer.

NOVELISTS, a French metalcore band, opened the night and did not disappoint. This has been their first time touring in the United States, which was really cool to see. As this was my first introduction to the band, they 100% gained a fan out of me. Their stage presence is absolutely wild and the lighting design gives a nice cool tone and an eerie vibe, matching their music very well for a well executed production overall.

Void Of Vision was next on the line up and the vibe was immaculate. With any metalcore act, the vibe will always be eerie to help you get into their minds with the music, which I find beautiful. The crowd interaction was impressive to see with countless crowd surfers, the fans were genuinely having the best time.

An act that has been on my “must-see” list for quite some time, Make Them Suffer came on right before ERRA. They exceeded my expectations with their set, including crowd interaction, fog machines, immaculate lighting, and all around great vibes from them. I personally lost my mind when hearing “Doomswitch” performed live.

ERRA is absolutely one of the best live acts I've ever seen due to their insane production, stage presence, and crowd interactions. After seeing them six times last year, they have lived in my heart indefinitely. Their light show alone lives in my mind rent free - it's an example of some of the best lighting design I have ever seen at a show.

ERRA performed songs off their newest album, Cure such as “Slow Sour Bleed,” “Crawl Backwards Out Of Heaven,” and “Blue Reverie.” This setlist was surreal to hear live. ERRA is incredible to say the least, and Cure is definitely on my list for album of the year.
