Liz Bills is no stranger to the music industry. After auditioning for Season 12 of American Idol and making it onto the show in 2012, Bills has been on the radar ever since. Despite her elimination from the show, she found success as the lead singer for the rock group Analog Heart between 2012 and 2016. After spending years within the rock scene, she took a turn to explore her softer side with the group Liz Bills and the Change. Now, she is venturing out on her own and carving her path as a solo artist, combining all of her sounds and inspirations.

Aside from music, Liz is also an advocate for equality, self-healing, anxiety and environmental causes. She uses her social media to bring awareness to social issues and environmental issues and always makes sure to be completely honest and real with her fans.

She even has a YouTube channel where she shares more than just her music. As a sufferer of MTD, Muscular Tension Dysphonia, she shares her experience and knowledge with her audience. Often her videos show her struggles with MTD and tips she has learned from doctors and healers.

In regards to her overall sound, there is a unique growl and vibration to her voice, unlike any other singer. She effectively uses her voice as an instrument, just as she does the guitar and piano. Liz has released two songs off the forthcoming album, one of which being a sweet song dedicated to her mom entitled “Mama’s Song” that is written in letter form. The second track is titled “Wi-Hi”, and this song came at a time when the world was glued to screens and information overload was everywhere. It addresses the ever growing concern surrounding the attachment and addiction to our phones and screens.

If you are in search of a well-rounded musician and advocate, look no further than Liz Bills, and be sure to check out her latest two singles off her forthcoming album.
